Maple-Asian Glazed Salmon

? cup each maple syrup, soy sauce

3 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp chili garlic sauce (found in your grocer’s Asian foods aisle)


Salmon & Vegetables:

1 pkg Green Giant* Valley Selections* Japanese Mix

1 tbsp vegetable oil

4 salmon fillets (about 4oz or 125 g each) or 1 pkg (454 g) frozen salmon fillets, thawed

¼ cup chicken broth

Cooked rice or noodles

Chopped fresh cilantro and toasted sesame seeds (optional)


Combine all sauce ingredients. Take 2 tbsp sauce and brush over salmon. Let stand 15 minutes. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add salmon; cover and cook about 5 minutes. Turn salmon over and cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from pan; cover to keep warm. Add chicken broth and vegetables to skillet. Cover and cook over medium-high heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until hot and tender, stirring occasionally. Place vegetables and salmon over rice or noodles. Drizzle with sauce. Sprinkle with cilantro and sesame seeds, if desired.
