1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable or olive oil
1 lb (500 g) mild or hot Italian sausages
1 pkg (500 g) Green Giant* Valley Selections* Savoury Garlic Pasta with Vegetables
½ cup (125 mL) chicken broth
½ cup (125 mL) cream or evaporated milk
2-3 tsp (10-15 mL) Dijon mustard
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Cook sausages and remove to plate; cover. Add Garlic Pasta with Vegetables and chicken broth to pan. Cover and cook 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally until hot and tender. Slice sausages, return to skillet along with any juices on the plate; stir in cream and mustard. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for about 1 minute. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
